World of the Mind: introspection.
Looking into one's own mind, to find what one thinks and feels. The idea that this process is rather like that of perception, only turned inwards. Instead of perceiving what one thinks and feels, the process is probably better thought of in terms of wondering what to say, or rehearsing a narrative that could be made public:
‘How do I know what I think until I hear what I say?
The world's tragic events should have us all looking deep inside of ourselves. This helps to reaffirm our faith in humanity and our individual roles in making the world a better place.
In the words of Mahatma Gandhi;
“Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.”
A wise man once said " Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for you will never go higher than you think."
